The Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago (1874). It was designed by Patrick Keely, who built many famous Catholic churches, particularly around New York City. As an Irishman, it was almost impossible for Keely to find work with any other organization. It was built in 1874 in response to the destruction of the Cathedral of Saint Mary and the Church of the Holy Name in the Great Chicago Fire.
